NY Digital Summit to Top 200 Guests

Sailthru recently announced that its annual digital insights summit, Sailthru Lift, will be taking place at The Brooklyn Museum October 19-20, 2015. The event will once again bring together more than 200 digital marketers, featuring executives from variety of ecommerce and digital publishing brands including Rob Schutz, Head of Growth, BarkBox; Dana Hork, Director of Membership, Jet.com; David Echegoyen, President and CMO, Acumen Brands; and Vivek Shah, CEO, Ziff Davis.

“We’re excited to bring together both Sailthru clients and the brightest minds in the marketing industry,” said Neil Lustig, CEO and President, Sailthru. “Using billions of consumer data points, Sailthru has identified that 95% of a brand’s revenue can come from as few as 5% of its customers. This means that marketers need to focus on customer retention, now more than ever.”

At Sailthru Lift marketers will be able to learn from key industry analysts, such as Shar VanBoskirk, Brian Vellmure, and David Raab who will be speaking on innovation, the digitization of everything and its impact on marketing, and the importance of consumer data, respectively. Day one of the event focuses on customer insights and features a fireside chat with David Echegoyen, President and CMO of Acumen Brands. He’ll discuss how he and his team are building a retail, product and media company through a data and insights driven approach to retention and acquisition.

“Marketing has changed more in the last five years than in the last century. While we are still in the early days of understanding the science behind customer retention, we can now understand and engage customers at the individual level through technologies like Sailthru, something which wasn’t possible five years ago,” said David Echegoyen.

Day two features Vivek Shah, CEO of Ziff Davis, who will elaborate on how he’s led Ziff Davis from bankruptcy to a publishing company The Wall Street Journal has named, “the epitome of modern, innovative digital publishing,” in a fireside chat with Sailthru CMO, Eric Porres. WSJ stated in 15 May 2014 that they achieved this by promising a specific number of sales or sales leads, often in the form of email signups.
