Bloomreach Achieve 100% Uptime for Cyber Week

As the peak shopping season shifted into high gear, Bloomreach, a leading Commerce Experience Cloud, powered millions of marketing campaigns, searches and pageviews for its 850 global customers without fail. This impressive feat was accomplished over Cyber Week with no interruptions, this was the second time they offered 100% uptime through cyber week, achieving the same last year.

Bloomreach Engagement saw an increase in campaigns across nearly every channel: 331 million emails were sent on Black Friday alone (a 72% increase over last year); 3.8 million SMS messages were sent (a 50% increase); and 145,000 MMS messages (a 590% increase). 306 million retargeting ads were also deployed on Black Friday – a 9% increase from prior year.

Ads were made even more powerful with integrations to Snapchat, Facebook Ads and Google Ads. Meanwhile, Bloomreach Discovery customers experienced 100% uptime from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday – 300 million searches were powered on Black Friday alone – and 1.2 billion user events processed each day of the peak shopping season.

Traffic volume peaked at 6,000 queries per second (QPS) across regions – up from 4,300 QPS in the prior year. Finally, Bloomreach Content reported 18.1 million page views on Black Friday and 19.9 million page views on Cyber Monday; despite the heavy volume of traffic to businesses’ sites there were no downtimes or delays due to performance issues.
