RISING RISING is a surge of art, music and ceremony in the heart of Melbourne. Taking the place of the Melbourne International Arts Festival and White Night Melbourne, RISING is a major cultural event for the Asia Pacific Region created by a diverse team of local, national and international artists and curators. RISING will begin on the evening of the total lunar eclipse in May 2021. Interlocking circles of experience and connection will radiate through the night, as the city re-synchronises and is re-energised with public art, performance and music spanning the emerging and iconic, the epic and intimate. This is a role suited to a user-focused lateral thinker with a strong background in ticketing operations, database management and user experience. RISING has an ambitious program of events with varying ticketing and fundraising needs. We are looking for someone who thinks outside the square to optimise our ticketing and database systems. You are a dev savvy ticketing problem solver committed to creating an elegant and seamless end-to-end ticketing experience. You are a solutions-oriented self-starter who loves a challenge. You know your way around Tessitura inside and out and understand how it can be bent to serve complex ticketing requirements outside traditional builds. You are insights-driven and can effectively interpret ticketing data and audience behaviour to create dynamic ticket and crowd flow optimisation solutions.
