Validity has reshuffled its executive ranks, bringing in Tim Adams as chief financial officer and elevating Matt Gore from head of engineering to chief technology officer. Adams has spent more than 30 years steering the finances of growth‑stage tech firms and was most recently CFO at Rapid7; before that he held the same title at Demandware, athenahealth and Cytyc. He will take charge of Validity’s budgeting and financial reporting.
Gore joined Validity in 2025 when it bought email‑testing specialist Litmus and has been running its engineering team. In his new role he will set technology strategy across the company. The positions were previously held by Andrew Lazarus (CFO) and Geoff Charron (CTO); Validity hasn’t said what they will do next or whether more changes are coming. Gore’s promotion also leaves open the question of who will lead technology at Litmus, which remains part of the Validity portfolio.
With Adams and Gore on board, Validity has filled its finance and technology leadership posts. For now, the company hasn’t signalled further organisational changes.
