PowerMTA is licensed mail transfer agent software for operating outbound email delivery on the customer’s own servers or in a public cloud. Virtual MTAs separate sending streams with their own IP addresses, queues, rate limits and routing.
Bird describes delivery monitoring and reporting for bounces, blocks and recipient domains. The software can deliver directly or relay selected traffic to Bird’s hosted Email API. Licensing and support are quoted separately from hosting, network and IP costs.
