AWeber Hires Industry Veteran to Lead Marketing and Growth Efforts
Technology marketing & product veteran, Rob Patterson, joins AWeber’s leadership team to drive market awareness and overall company growth
Chalfont, PA, April 23, 2019 — AWeber, a leading small business email marketing and automation platform, today announced it has hired long-time technology marketing leader, Rob Patterson, as its Chief Marketing & Growth Officer.
In his new role, Patterson will play a pivotal role in helping AWeber drive greater awareness of its powerful small business email automation tools, including behavior-based tagging, automations and segmentation, among small business owners and entrepreneurs. Additionally, Patterson will focus on driving the value story of AWeber’s offerings through the many customer success stories experienced with the AWeber platform over the past 20 years.

Prior to joining AWeber, Patterson led strategic marketing for the industrial internet of things and augmented reality groups at PTC, a $1 billion industry leader in how products are designed, manufactured, operated and serviced. Patterson joined PTC in 2015 when the company acquired artificial intelligence and machine learning analytics pioneer, ColdLight, where he was previously VP of Corporate Strategy & Marketing. At ColdLight, Patterson played a pivotal role in the successful exit of the company in May 2015 to PTC.
