Halon, a popular commercial MTA, has released a new version 5.10 (code name “acuity”) which includes a web interface with delivery insights.
This feature allows deliverability professionals and marketers to monitor the delivery and queuing of their emails in real-time, and identify and address any issues that may prevent emails from being delivered.
In addition, Halon offers multiple integrations with different systems, including Elasticsearch, which allows users to access and analyse historical data and gain valuable insights into the performance of their campaigns.
Ready-made Kibana dashboards provide a quick and easy way to visualise this data. The new version also includes a number of add-ons, such as support for email submissions with templating and substitutions, as well as components for open and click tracking. These tools give users additional flexibility and control over their email marketing efforts.
Other updates include support for Ubuntu 22.04 and the ability to more granularly control outbound connections.
The new web interface and deliverability insights in Halon 5.10 make it easier than ever for delivery and deliverability professionals to monitor and improve the delivery of their emails.
By providing real-time data as well as historical data analysis and additional add-ons, this release offers a significant step forward for email marketing.
