We are looking for a Product Owner to organize, prioritize and assess work for our design and development teams. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases, similar to the way a project manager would.
As a MailMonitor Product Owner, your responsibilities will include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. You will also be conducting user testing and competitor analysis on an ongoing basis. Understanding how our users engage with our products, anticipating what their needs are, and knowing what the industry is up to are key aspects of this position.
Ultimately, you’ll help us roll-out products that deliver our company’s vision.
As a member of our small team, you will meaningfully impact all parts of the company, from the direction the company is going, to the products we develop, to the people we hire.
Your day to day will include:
Incorporating feature requests into the product roadmap, grooming and prioritizing the backlog, and managing releases.
Developing user stories, creating requirements documentation, and defining acceptance criteria (QA test cases).
Managing the progress of work and addressing production issues during sprints.
Analyzing preferences and requests for features and services and presenting development cases to senior management.
Refining our Agile methodology based on results.
