SparkPost is the former name of the email delivery service now offered as Bird Email. Bird acquired SparkPost in 2021 and integrated its delivery and analytics technology into its communications platform.
The current service supports email sending through an API and SMTP relay, with templates, inbound email, dedicated IPs, suppressions and analytics. Bird publishes current implementation guides and API documentation for the service. Existing SparkPost customers are directed to Bird for continued support.
