Shortwave is an email client and AI workspace for Gmail and Google Workspace. Its assistant can search message history and attachments, draft replies, summarise threads, organise mail and schedule calendar events. Bundles, split inbox views, todos, snoozing and delivery schedules provide manual controls alongside AI filters.

Teams can share live threads, comment privately, assign responsibility and maintain shared labels, prompts and templates. The assistant connects to other tools through integrations and MCP. Access requires a Gmail or Google Workspace account: some other providers can be used through forwarding and Gmail's send-as configuration, but Microsoft 365 and Exchange accounts are not supported.
A Free plan is available, with paid plans increasing history, AI usage and automation limits. Published business plans cost US$30, US$45 or US$120 per person per month, with a 14-day trial. One person's paid licence covers their other accounts when signed in on the same device; team billing is charged for each person. The support address is support@shortwave.com.
