About
SaneBox connects to an existing email account and sorts incoming messages into folders according to their likely importance. Users continue reading mail in their usual application. Supported services include Gmail, Microsoft 365, iCloud, Yahoo and Fastmail, together with compatible IMAP, Exchange and ActiveSync servers.

Its BlackHole feature keeps unwanted senders out of the inbox, while a daily digest brings together unopened lower-priority messages. Reminders can flag messages that have not received a reply, and snoozing moves mail out of view until a selected time. These functions are intended for individual inbox management rather than newsletter distribution.
SaneBox says that its sorting uses information such as sender, subject and date and that it does not store full messages or attachments. OAuth is used where supported, with account access controlled by the user. Three subscription plans differ in features and the number of connected accounts; each offers a seven-day trial without a card. Support is available at support@sanebox.com.
On cancellation, users can choose whether to retain or remove the folders SaneBox created.
