Mimestream is a macOS email client built around the Gmail API. It supports Gmail categories, labels, server-side filters, aliases and search, with multiple accounts shown separately or in a unified inbox. Profiles and notification schedules help users separate work and personal mail. The current application requires macOS 12 Monterey or newer.

Writing and triage tools include templates with fillable variables, Markdown shortcuts, send-and-archive, undo send, snoozing and calendar-invitation responses. Tracking prevention blocks recognised email trackers. The app stores mailbox credentials and cached messages on the device and connects directly to Gmail; its separate licensing and notification services receive account and device metadata but cannot access mailbox messages.
An individual subscription costs US$49.99 per year or US$4.99 per month, plus applicable taxes, and covers all of the user's Google accounts on up to five devices. Immediate household family members can share that device allowance. Group licensing adds central billing and seat management. Annual subscriptions have a 30-day refund window after purchase or renewal; monthly subscriptions can be cancelled but are not refundable.
