AWeber Provides Resources for Small Business

AWeber encourages you to “shop small” on November 29 for Small Business Saturday. This year, AWeber is supporting small businesses by providing them with custom Small Business Saturday resources including: an email template and header, and a downloadable action plan checklist that will help them map out their email, social media, content marketing and in-store plans.

Small Business Saturday was founded in 2010 by American Express and encourages people to shop small on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. AWeber user and Vault Brewery owner, James Cain, is happy that this has become a nationally recognized day. “Small Business Saturday isn’t just about supporting small businesses, it should be about choosing to spend your money at a destination that matters to you,” said Cain. “One that has the ability to affect even more lives the way it’s affected yours.”

Small Business Saturday and the idea of “shopping small” have grown into powerful movements, with more people participating than ever before. Last year, consumers spent $5.7 billion with independent merchants that day, up 3.6 percent from the prior year.

Bill Pavlou, AWeber customer and owner of Super Duper Deli in Edison, NJ, says that every business has its own unique set of challenges. To work around theirs, Bill attributes his deli’s success to never cutting corners and nurturing customer relationships. “We have tremendous relationships with our customers and remain honest about how we do business,” said Pavlov. “That sounds simple, but I think all too often, that concept is forgotten.”

“Small Business Saturday is a perfect example of why AWeber does what it does,” said Erik Harbison, AWeber’s CMO. “We love to support and watch businesses grow. How could you not want to be a part of this?”
